This busy Seattle family wanted a sunny new kitchen for their family to enjoy simple meals and homework sessions. McHegg Design+Build had the pleasure of working with repeat clients to design and build a small expansion to the existing kitchen, adding a powder room and updating the upstairs family bathroom.
The seemingly minor changes transformed their house into a sunny haven and increased the efficiency and organization of the house in a limited footprint.
The precise craftsmanship abilities of McHegg Design+Build are showcased in a light-filled and streamlined design for a new house on Beacon Hill in Seattle.
McHegg Design+Build worked with Architect Peter Cohan to transform a simple and thorough design into a whimsical and efficiently-built masterpiece.
Restoring this much-loved fixture in the Madrona/Leschi neighborhood is our current long-term project.
Photos will be forthcoming.
McHegg
Design+Build transformed a small cottage into a modern three story home while maintaining the historic footprint. The clients were financing this project in phases, and McHegg Design+Build worked to complete the foundation and shell, allowing the clients to do their own demolition and finish work.
Future plans for a stone fireplace will provide a location for the clients to display their moosehead.
